Originating from Melbourne Australia, White Widdow was formed in 2008 by front man Jules Millis along with Bassist Trent Wilson, Guitarist Enzo Almanzi and Keyboardist Xavier Millis a two time ARIA (Australian Record Industry Award) nominee. They were raised on 80’s Arena Rock and were influenced by such artists as White Sister, Giuffria, Survivor, Bon Jovi, Dokken, Danger Danger, Starship and Australia’s own Rick Springfield & Roxus.

In mid 2009 White Widdow recorded and released their first EP which was only available digitally. It was very well received by press and began to attract fans from overseas, broadening their fan base greater than Australia.

In 2010 White Widdow broke onto the Melodic Rock scene all over the globe with their self titled debut album. The album was distributed throughout Europe on the AOR Heaven label (TNT, FM, Stage Dolls). The release of the album had press raving – and made it into Classic Rock Magazine’s top 10 AOR albums of 2010.

In September 2011 White Widdow returned with a follow up album release titled “Serenade”. This new album kept the energy of their self titled album – but also showed a more crafted and structured side to their song writing. This album again gained great press and earned them “one of the greatest albums of 2011”,  a 9/10 in both the Classic Rock and Powerplay Magazines and a European Tour.

In March 2012, Jim Naish (Drummer) was replaced by George Kristy and in May they landed a very successful full tour of the UK.

They are already in the process of writing their third album and don’t seem to look like they’re putting on the breaks any time soon!
